Dillon Francis (feat T.E.E.D.) - Without You (Hayden James Remix)

Australian beatmaker Hayden James is doing pretty well for himself at the moment - a success with his début EP, regular rotation on triple j thanks to hits such as "Permission to Love" and "Embrace" and a truly fantastic sound.

This time he's applied his skills to one of my favourite collaborations this year, that of Dillon Francis and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. He's transformed "Without You" into a chilled trap track, with some neat drops and sounds from the Future Classic star. It shows that trap remixes can be chilled. Great stuff, grab a free download while you can!

Bauuer & RL Grime - Infinite Daps (+ The Hood Internet Mashup)

Two names of dance and trap music that you'll probably be familiar with have teamed up to create a new track. It rocks. He of Harlem Shake fame, Bauuer (although bear in mind he hates that song) and RL Grime, who you might know from stunning remixes of Kanye West and Benny Benassi have teamed up to create "Infinite Daps", a new trap track that'll be featured on the DANCE (RED) SAVES LIVES 2 compilation album.

"Infinite Daps" brings the best of both producers together to create a fantastic new sound - this was actually created between the duo on a tour bus during their tour with Ryan Hemsworth and Jim-E Stack. It's available for a free download for 48 hours on Soundcloud, and will be released again for the RED compilation.

RED (a charity) aim to build awareness about the global fight against AIDS and do some amazing work to try and help those in need. The compilation album is out on November 25th and costs £8.99 on iTunes - £7.20 of this goes towards the Global Fund.

Update: The Hood Internet have released a new mashup, combining Drake's "Started From The Bottom" with "Infinite Daps", making a pretty well worked mix. I'm not a particularly big Drake fan (I think the covers of "Hold On..." are better than the original), but this is good. Stream and download below.

What So Not - Touched

Released literally minutes ago, here's a brand new track from Sydney trap/electronic collaborators What So Not. Consisting of Chris Emerson (aka Emoh Instead) and Harley Streten (aka Flume, or Flerm depending on which part of the internet you're on), the duo gained major support throughout 2013 following the release of The Quack EP and particularly the Branchez remix of "High You Are".

"Touched" is a track that was first conceived in WSN's first-ever recording session in Streten's bedroom studio - three years ago! The duo state that "it feels symbolic that three years on we find ourselves coming full circle to finish this same song we started that very first day.

What So Not is about giving people the opportunity to follow and listen to something a little bit different (their words), and they do just that - their sound is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the entire trap/dance/electronic super-genre at the moment. And that can only be a good thing, right?

MØ - XXX 88 (Joe Hertz Remix)

MØ (@MOMOMOYOUTH) is an incredibly talented singer, there's absolutely no doubt about that. "XXX 88" was the first track on her recent Bikini Daze EP, which has so far received positive reviews! Today marked the release of what appears to be the first of multiple XXX 88 Remixes (marked by the 1) and they're all pretty good!

The remix I've chosen to feature is from Joe Hertz (@joehertzmusic), who's provided a trap/electronic remix of the Diplo-assisted hit - and it sounds brilliant! It's not a heavy trap sound, it's more reminiscent of dance artists such as Bondax - and this can only be a good thing, right?

Listen to the Joe Hertz remix below, and download all 4 remixes for free from MØ's Soundcloud page.
