Continuing on the trend of funky remixes this morning, RAC recently released a remix of 'Successful Imagine Dragons Single #256', probably better known as "On Top of the World". A big transformation from the original, this mix (by André Allen Anjos) replaces the upbeat feel of the original with a much slower-paced, even dreamier sound, managing to insert a trap beat in there as well!
Sounding like a funky house track without the bass, this is a charming remix (if people even use 'charming' anymore). Synths, drums, a slower pace, to me it sounds a little like a comedown track from a mad house party or even just something you can stick on your late-night playlist. Big love for this.
