Ella Yelich-O'Connor aka Lorde is the youngest solo artist to top the Hot 100 since Tiffany and "I Think We're Alone Now". The New Zealander's meteoric rise has been compared to that of Lana Del Rey, who put out a couple EPs to tide time before her album.
With two EPs already released (The Love Club EP, Tennis Court EP), one of which spent 5 months at the very top of the chart in New Zealand, the next logical step would be to release an album, right? Correct! Her debut full-length LP, Pure Heroine is due out on October 28 in the UK.
