Little Comets - Little Italy

I was delighted to wake up and be linked to brand new material from Little Comets! 'Little Italy' is the first track from their upcoming release, The Gentle EP, which is apparently a misnomer, according to the group. The trio from the Tyne and Wear part of England have had their sound described as "kitchen sink indie", which appears to be in reference to their eclectic and chaotic, yet melodic sound.

The band say they've got lots of songs prepared and it's their intention to make 3 EPs and a third album in the next 12 months, with The Gentle EP the first offering of this ambitious goal.

Coming in at two minutes and fifty seconds, 'Little Italy' is a long awaited return to the indie scene for the boys, providing us with everstrong vocals from Robert Coles, wonderful rhythm and sound from the rest of the gang. The band will release 300 physical, hand decorated copies of this, alongside the digital release which is due on February 23rd.
